The book was jointly unveiled by Prof. Dr. Sanat Kumar Basti, Ram Babu Subedi, Ashwini Koirala, and Rajkumar Shrestha.

During the event, Prof. Dr. Basti recited a poem from Bimba, while Ram Babu Subedi extended his best wishes to the author. A message sent by Wagle from the United States was read aloud by Ashwini Koirala.

In his message, Wagle described the International Nepali Literature Society as an institution dedicated to the promotion of the Nepali language, literature, art, culture, and identity, and praised its contribution in providing a common platform for writers. He also mentioned that he has been going through a period of family bereavement during his literary journey, yet continued the book publication process in order to sustain his creative work.

Wagle stated that Bimba, published while remaining committed to writing despite the challenges of time and circumstances in a foreign land, is not merely a book but a reflection of struggle. He expressed gratitude to SahityaPost, its editor-in-chief Ashwini Koirala, Mahesh Paudel, Ganesh Khadka, and the entire SahityaPost team for their support in publishing the book. He also apologized for being unable to attend the event due to his family’s mourning.

The book has been published by ShabdaMedia Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with SahityaPost. Wagle’s previously published works include Juwaghar, Sandhe (a humorous essay collection), Casino, Yudhishthir, Punarbās, and Neta Ban Chhora Neta Ban.
Bimba is his first poetry collection.
