According to Pramod Kansakar, Director of The Hidden Treasure the official organizer of Miss Nepal Deepmala Kharel has successfully met all required standards and qualifications to compete on the national stage.
Kansakar confirmed that after reviewing her credentials and background, the organization found her fully eligible to participate in Miss Nepal 2026. This makes her the first confirmed contestant for the upcoming edition of the competition.
“From My Family’s Daughter to Hong Kong’s Daughter”
Following her victory, Kharel expressed deep gratitude and pride. She shared that winning the title has brought a new sense of responsibility into her life.
“I am very happy. I feel that I now carry a new responsibility. Until yesterday, I was just my family’s daughter; from today, I have become the daughter of all Hong Kong,” she said. “I will compete in Miss Nepal and make Hong Kong proud. Winning the Miss Nepal crown and actively contributing to social work is my next goal.”

She works as an investment strategist at BlackRock, one of the world’s largest investment management companies. Born and raised in Hong Kong, she began her professional career immediately after completing her undergraduate education.
Organizers describe her as a well-rounded individual who balances academics, sports, arts, and leadership skills. In addition to her corporate career, she is an active marathon runner in Hong Kong and practices Taekwondo, demonstrating both physical endurance and discipline.
