Portugal: The International Nepalese Artists Society (INAS) Portugal successfully organized its “Introduction and Official Certificate Distribution Program 2026” in a grand and enthusiastic atmosphere. This first formal event following the organization’s reformation delivered a strong message of unity, renewed energy, and cultural commitment within the Nepali community in Portugal.
The program was attended by several distinguished personalities, including INAS Advisor and President of Thakuri Society Portugal Sajjan Hamal Thakuri; INAS Advisors Bhabesh Basnet and Durga Pangeny; President of International Nepali Literary Society (INLS) Portugal N.B. Anjan; President of Nepalese Women Association Portugal Gita Reule; Deputy General Secretary of Nepal Journalists Federation Europe Branch Kalash Kharel; President of Baglung Society Portugal Dinesh Khadka; President of Sudurpaschim Society Dipesh Bista; President of National Tamang Ghedung Association Portugal Iman Tamang; Member of Nepal Journalists Federation Europe Branch Pustak Regmi; General Secretary of Nepalese Women Association Portugal Saraswati Gautam; along with presidents and representatives of various Nepali organizations in Portugal.
The event was further highlighted by vibrant cultural performances. Riya Shrestha, Sunny Shahi, and Mona Rai delivered captivating dance performances, while Santosh Adhikari, Gita Reule, Gita Lama, and Ritika Kuwar mesmerized the audience with their melodious singing.
Held at Love Lisbon, the program was skillfully hosted by GCR representative Sunil Giri.
The event clearly outlined INAS Portugal’s future direction and reaffirmed its strong commitment to promoting Nepali art, literature, and culture. Organizers stated that the program served as an important platform to strengthen unity, collaboration, and cultural identity among the Nepali community in Portugal.
