Nepal: The training of election police recruited for the House of Representatives elections has been completed.

The 10-day training of election police recruited for the elections to be held on 21 Falgun was completed on Tuesday. It was said that they would enter the field after the training was completed.
However, it will take a few days to enter the field as the equipment (sticks, whistles, uniforms, shoes) are not ready.
According to SP Pawan Kumar Bhattarai of the District Police Range, Kathmandu, it will take a few more days to enter the field as the uniforms are not ready.
More than 338,000 security personnel are being mobilized for the upcoming elections. 79,727 people from the Nepal Army alone will be mobilized. 75,597 people from the Nepal Police will be mobilized. 130,980 election police will be mobilized under the police.
34,576 Armed Police Force will be mobilized for the elections. 15,110 election police will be mobilized under the Armed Police Force.
Similarly, 1,921 intelligence agents are also deployed. Including all four security agencies and the election police, 333,980 security personnel are deployed in the elections.
