event, happening on Friday and Saturday, will feature important discussions on
wedding tourism. It will kick off with Maneesh Srivastava, the event curator
and CEO of The Bull, giving the opening address. Dhananjay Regmi, CEO of the
Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), will then share welcoming remarks, followed by
performances and a keynote address. Priyanka Acharya Jalan will highlight
On the second
day, attendees will visit Pashupatinath and Chandragiri Hills. During the trip
to the scenic Chandragiri Hills, ‘Wedding Affair’, an Indian magazine covering
various wedding aspects, from dresses to venues, will launch its Nepali
version. Another panel discussion will also take place at Chandragiri.
The event will
feature showcases from Indian and Nepali wedding planners, giving them a
platform to display their designs. Jalan reveals that the Indo-Nepal Wedding
Summit will be an annual occurrence henceforth.
“This event
offers a chance to overcome geographical barriers and connect with people.
Indian and Nepali wedding planners can exchange ideas, share their visions, and
establish connections that may lead to significant future collaborations,” says
Jalan.
